YotePrint and PaperCut bring several features campus printing, copying, and scanning. Whether you're missing your ID card an need an alternate way to print, want to learn how to print from a campus or personal device,
or need to learn how to use a Ricoh copier, this page will help you out.
If there's something you think we should add here, please let us know.
Your College ID card is required to print or copy on any device running PaperCut. Your card securely identifies you and is a faster method than requiring a username and password. Compatible cards display your
ID number in the front lower-right corner.
If you forgot your ID card you can release jobs to a printer through the PaperCut website, https://print.collegeofidaho.edu. Sign in with your YoteNet ID,
click Jobs Pending Release (left side), select your job, and select the destination printer. Keep in mind that this procedure defeats the purpose of secure print so sensitive information should only be
released via card at the printer.
- Send a job to the YotePrint printer.
- Select the account to charge in the PaperCut popup.
- Wait for the queue confirmation on your computer.
- Walk to the printer of your choice.
- Scan your ID card to login.
- Select a single document to print, or touch Print All.
- Touch Logout or re-scan your card.
If you've forgotten your ID card or it's otherwise missing, you can still release a print job. See the ID Cards and PaperCut section, above, for directions.
Printing from a personal device is supported if that device can send an email with an attachment. You must send the email from your C of I account and your attachment must be a Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, or image document.
Personal printing doesn't support advanced options like single-sided printing or page layout options.
- Compose a new email to yoteprint@collegeofidaho.edu or yoteprint-color@collegeofidaho.edu.
- Attach a supported document type to the message (see above).
- Send the message.
- Wait a few minutes for a status reply.
- Click the link in the reply to confirm your print job.
- Select an account for the print job and wait for the queue confirmation.
- Retrieve your job at any YotePrint-enabled printer.
